Welcome to Congregation Beth Aharon of Riverdale, Bronx NY.
Beth Aharon is a Sephardic orthodox congregation which offers a warm prayer environment to congregants at all levels of observance: far-reaching, traditional, relaxed, and these who mostly like to stay at home.
Beth Aharon was established in 1998 and is currently Riverdale’s main Sephardic congregation. Our home is the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale, known as the Bayit, within which we have dwelt throughout the years.
While the main nosah of teflot is Yerushalmi, our social matrix includes almost each and every Eda. Our congregants take active part in the tefila as hazanim and in reading the Torah, or take a "back seat" while enjoy the various nosahim.
We invite you to visit our community and neighborhood. Riverdale offers many services for the entire family. We have an eruv, mikva’ot, many shuls and schools, K-12, High School, Yeshivot - and plenty of kosher restaurants and establishments.
